What to expect
A parent-supervised private open-gym session for your group: 75 minutes of exclusive gym access for children ages 12 months through 9 years. Mixed ages are welcome. Children explore freely at their own pace while staff periodically introduce different equipment and movement experiences. There are no coordinated games or mandatory activities.
Good to know
- Parents and caregivers stay throughout and actively supervise their children.
- No food or cake is permitted.
- Siblings count toward the child total if they enter the gym floor.
- The secured training vault remains locked.
- Groups of 19 or more: please call Strong Start for approval.
Playdate details & policies
How much does it cost?
$150.00 Monday–Friday and $200.00 Saturday–Sunday, including up to 10 children. Each additional child is $15.00. Full payment is required to confirm.
Who counts toward the child total?
Every child who enters the gym floor, including siblings.
What about larger groups?
You can book up to 18 children online. For 19 or more, please call Strong Start for approval — staff can arrange a custom reservation, subject to occupancy and staffing.
When can I book?
Online, from 14 days up to 48 hours before your playdate.
Can I change the number of children?
Yes — add children (and pay the difference) or reduce your count online until 48 hours before the playdate. Removing paid additional children refunds $15.00 each, never below the base price. Within 48 hours, changes need staff approval.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel at least 7 days before for a full refund or one complimentary reschedule. Cancellations within 7 days are nonrefundable unless staff approve an exception. If Strong Start cancels, you receive a full refund.
Can we bring food or cake?
No — food and cake aren’t permitted during playdates. For a celebration with food and cake, see Birthday Parties.
Who supervises the children?
Parents and caregivers stay throughout and actively supervise their children. Our staff introduce equipment and movement experiences; the secured training vault stays locked.
Do guests need an account or a waiver?
No account is needed. After your booking is confirmed you get a link to share. Each family registers their child and signs the waiver online, or at the front desk on arrival.
No child may enter the gym floor without a signed waiver. Registration closes automatically once your paid child count is reached.
When should guests arrive and leave?
- Guests may arrive up to 15 minutes before the reservation begins; early arrivals wait in the lobby.
- Gym floor access begins exactly at the scheduled start time.
- All guests leave the gym floor at the scheduled end time.
- Everyone must leave the facility within 10 minutes after the reservation ends.
- Late arrivals do not extend the reservation.
The complete playdate policy
